This is where I will be tomorrow whilst my darling husband mans the show at Nest. It will be a great opportunity to catch up with some of my lovely and super talented Tasmanian suppliers including Notions, Pili Pala Pieces, What Katie did Next, Magoolie Designs, Ruby Victoria Letterpress, Dick & Dora and That Vintage. I hope to also make some new friends and I have my eye on a few new suppliers as well.... :) It will be a lovely weekend of handmade goodness however if you don't have the opportunity to make it, never fear as Nest will be stocking some new collections very soon...If I'm lucky I may even be able to bring some home with me!! YAY!!

two in a tea cup......

Now... these are the most intricate and BEAUTIFUL little handmade creations I have had in Nest to date!" Two in a tea cup" is the new label of a very clever Mother and Daughter team from Hobart, Deborah and Mia. Combining their talents, "two in a tea cup" have created a gorgeous range of hand stamped cards, labels, display pegs and my most favourite thing, ...Nests!!! The detail in these little works is absolutely exquisite! Ever so carefully woven in amongst the tiny vines are dainty glass beads, fluffy bird feathers and delicate branches....

Treasure in the nest....egg shaped stones hand painted with gold hearts

This one looks like it has a tiny nest within a nest!

Little bird homes made with love..... Hand cut and hand stamped pegs..Use them as bookmarks, photo display or just to attach a card to a parcel? Only limited by your imagination...:) A beautiful tag for any occasion....... Thank you ladies....so happy you have found a home in Nest x

Our "Second Sister".......

Penguins own very talented Janine Morris {of Second Sister} has been there from the start of Nest..With her very popular upcycled soft toys and skirts made from pre-loved blankets, sewing kits and woven baskets, Janine now adds MORE to her ever growing collection of handmade "wonderfulness"!
