Warm Fuzzies!! :)

The talented Tish has been hard at work again for me, bringing to Nest a new selection of felted goodies! "Nests" of bowls {plus a few individual ones this time too}, her new wine bottle holders, and bottle Socks!

I must say I'm loving the bottle socks! They are quirky and VERY functional...Place them on the base of the wine bottle and they protect those valuable surfaces or glass top tables. At only $12, what a cool gift idea for those 'hard to buy for people'.....

Just Darling!!!

Just received this week! Stunning cushions, handmade Scandinavian Birch veneer trays, and cards designed by Darling Clementine...The designs are funky, colourful and would look fabulous combined with black and white as an injection of colour in your home....

The cushion covers are sold in beautiful gift boxes and would be perfect in preparation as a valentine gift for your sweet-heart...Especially the heart with No. 1! The trays I LOVE!! Functional or just for looks. What's even more exciting, amazing Tish {who does the incredible felt wares for Nest} got all inspired in seeing these colour combinations and is going to make me a set of nesting bowls to compliment the cushions! Black, grey, warm white, salmon........yummmmmm!!!!

Rain, Rain, please go away

As I sit here watching the rain teaming down, the tumultuous surf across the road and I listen to the drops as they fall into buckets and soak into towels (my shop front windows are leaking!), my heart feels even more heavy as I think of those in the flood areas and what they must be going through at this very moment...my thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you......
Below are snippets of Nest on warm sunny days, and though looking outside I feel at present they will never come...I know they will be back again........

A brand new year and a brand new range! Combining two of my loves...embossed ceramics and typography...Yumi Ando's stunning line of handmade porcelain necklaces, brooches and jewellery plates appealed to me instantly! Doily imprints, raindrops, clouds, and ampersands = Yum{i}
