Just wanted to let you all know! Although I will be going on holidays,{ thus closing the store next week} Nest will now be open on Sunday 12th June! So if you are heading this way for the long weekend, pop in and say hello to my beautiful friend Shelley!

Break away....

Well, it's been a over a year now since Nest began and as much as I have loved every single day I've decided it's time for a little holiday...In a couple of weeks my husband and I {Yes!! No children!!} are heading off for a week of bliss to Daylesford!! I've heard that it is a beautiful place to visit and so I can't wait! The down side is that I will be closing Nest for a week... I apologise if this will be an inconvenience to anybody planning to visit but I'm hoping that you will understand. It's only for a very short period and hopefully I will return home energised and ready for another amazing year! I may even come home with some new goodies....:)

Tea time...

For that perfect cup of tea..... Preheat your cup or pot. Be sure to not over boil the water.Brew for 2-4 mins and serve {if desired} with sugar or honey to taste.....Most importantly take the time to sit for a moment and enjoy....maybe in a favourite spot?....maybe with a favourite cup?

And here is a question for you guys.... When my Grandmother made a pot of tea I vaguely remember that she would swivel the pot so many times one way and then so many times the other. Does anybody know what that was about? {And no, I'm fairly certain she didn't suffer from OCD! :)}

New in store are these gorgeous I-phone covers by "Brainbow". Now...I haven't got an I-phone{my son is desperately trying to convince me that I need one?}, but if I did, I would put it in one of these! I love leather and these leathers are beautiful! So too are the colours. Hand made at it's finest, these would actually make a wonderful gift for that difficult to buy for guy in your life

Birthday window.....

It is always hard capturing my window with the reflections however I just wanted to show you some snippets of my birthday window! With the help of lovely Sky of "Cakes by Sky", my little handmade cupcake holders were turned into beautiful cake creations! Probably a good thing they are pretend....:)

These ones may be pretend however pop in on Thursday {Nests' official Birthday!} and I will have some real ones!
