Call me silly, but I get so excited for people when I know they are receiving a gift that they truly love and desire...Here is an image of a gorgeous,"Have you Met Miss Jones?", owl lamp at her new home...The lovely receiver of this gift (Oh, i wish I had a sister to spoil me!) has an equally lovely young daughter who has decided to name the new feathered friend, "Mrs Norton"......lol, that is so sweet...

Brenda Schmitt (Red Stitch Designs) is the clever,CLEVER lady responsible for these beautiful creations. I must say I have always, had a love affair with pears. I can recall my step son commenting on, "how many pears does one need?" :)...Only the other day I purchased a beautiful red stone heart from my friend David at "The Brown Dog, Stanley" and Thomas, in the back seat as I showed the kids, smiled as he said, "I'm surprised it's not a pear!"...So, OK....I know that I love pears!!.......And especially pears that say LOVE.....

Before NEST was born, I dreamed of having my own little store. I kept an "Ideas" book and every thought or idea I ever had was quickly noted....It was during a visit to Hobart one weekend that I first spied the gorgeous brooches of talented local, Rosalie Malham..I immediately fell in love (her packaging in itself is divine!) and of course her name was promptly added to my eclectic list....

Rosie has just put together her latest gorgeous range to celebrate the coming of spring!
