Business as Usual!...

Why do holidays go so fast?? :) Well it's back to work after having a lovely break at beautiful Bangalow, NSW....What a gorgeous place! The shops were gorgeous! The people equally as gorgeous! I fell in love with the place!...I'll be sure to show you some pics in the coming weeks so as to share this amazing location..:)

Coming home though was lovely {I missed my pillow!} As I had predicted I was greeted by an abundance of parcels and have slowly been opening them through the week... Below is a snippet of a couple of new things to be now found at Nest....

Well tomorrow I head off for a week of {what I'm hoping will be} total bliss! Nest will be closed until Friday, OPEN Saturday and Sunday for normal trading with the help of lovely Ros, and then closed until Wednesday 30th May. I have been ordering madly the last week so by the time I return I should have an abundance of parcels to unpack with lots of new winter goodies! Until then here a  few pics I hope will tease you :)...

Going on Holidays! ...

 It's that  time of year! Time to have my annual week holiday!

 I shall be packing my luggage...

 leaving the Autumn coolness behind...

To stay in a beautiful B & B...

Somewhere a little more tropical :)...

To discover new shops and cafes...

And hopefully just put my feet up for a short time...

That will be next week! Nest will be closed the week beginning the 21st May ,however the lovely Ros will be holding the fort for the weekend trade, so we will be open on the Saturday and Sunday {normal times of 10am - 4pm:)..And I shall be back the following week as normal! {Hopefully with an abundance of new treasure ideas!! :)}

Birthday Giveaway!...

After the mention of  Nest's 2nd Birthday yesterday, I was contacted by the gorgeous Julie of "Magoolie" design. Julie has generously offered this beautiful pendant as the Birthday Giveaway! Handcrafted from Southern Ice Porcelain on a sterling silver chain, the "Coastal Pendant" is inspired by the blue and white vintage crockery that can be found washed up on Tasmanian beaches. The amazing thing is, {and I don't thing even Julie will believe this} how fitting this pendant is to celebrate my little stores birthday...Not to mention that Julie has been one of my loveliest of lovely artists since the opening of Nest , but also that "Nest" was conceived in my mind as regularly walked along the  Penguin beach fossiking for signs!

Blue and white china was  my sign! Finding a piece of blue and white china { in my mind :)} was confirmation from the universe that my thoughts were guiding me in the right direction.... so fancy that!

That beach incidentally is the one that I look across at everyday through the window of my store. :)
